Admixture for Screed Application

In addition to its ranges of cement fluid screeds, Chryso has developed additives to improve their installation. These complementary products are particularly suitable for the formulation of Cemfloor® and Mobicem® fluid screeds in addition to ADCEM or ADCEM PR additives.

Withdrawal reducing agents

Some applications, particularly those with a high surface/volume ratio (floor slabs, screeds, prefabricated panels, etc.), present a high risk of cracking. Cracks weaken the integrity of the concrete, compromise its durability, allow the infiltration of aggressive elements (water, chlorides, frost, etc.) and alter the aesthetic appearance of the surfaces.

Its ready-to-use shrinkage reducing agent for concrete and mortars, helping to limit the risk of cracking. It reduces capillary tensions, thus influencing the most important mechanism causing shrinkage.

Superplasticizers

CHRYSO®ScreedFluid admixtures provide the fluidity required for excellent pumpability and the installation of cement-based fluid screeds while preserving the homogeneity of the material. They enable screeds to be produced with long workability without any detrimental setting delay.

CHRYSO®ScreedFinish is a ready-to-use water-based curing product for screeds. By forming a film when drying, it significantly slows down the drying of the screed, which allows for more complete hydration of the cement and reduces the risk of cracking at an early age. The surface of the treated screed, after setting, has better resistance to abrasion.

CHRYSO®ADCEM CQ

CHRYSO®ADCEM CQ is a special powder additive used in the formulation of Cemfloor flowable screeds. CHRYSO®ADCEM CQ provides multiple benefits, including controlling the various shrinkage stages in the mix design of Cemfloor Portland cement based self levelling fluid screeds. CHRYSO®ADCEM CQ enables Cemfloor liquid screed to achieve very low shrinkage with an average below 400 µ/m Cemfloor screed can be applied on surfaces up to 150 m² without control joints. CHRYSO®ADCEM CQ enables Cemfloor stability, rheology, workability retention and concrete hydration.

CHRYSO®ADCEM Filler is a natural limestone powder specifically classified and selected for the production of the Cemfloor liquid screeds. CHRYSO®ADCEM Filler provides multiple benefits, including controlling the various shrinkage stages in the mix design of Cemfloor Portland cement based self levelling fluid screeds.
