CHRYSO®Dem release agents facilitate the demolding of concrete, on all types of molds, while improving the quality of the facing.

CHRYSO®DEM range

With over 50 years of know-how, Chryso has developed a complete range of user-friendly release agents for all types of molds.

Chryso supports its customers in using greener release agents or those with an improved HSE profile, while maintaining a high level of performance.

Chryso solutions for lightweight prefabrication allow for maintaining a rapid production rate while preserving the surface quality of parts.

Historical solutions contain solvents. Chryso is innovating by expanding a range of plant-based or plant-based release agents in this application segment.

Advantages of the CHRYSO®Dem range

Facing quality

differentiation by the appearance of concrete

Protection of mussels

reduced maintenance costs

High HSE profile

protection of environmental users

Consumption optimization

reduction of costs and environmental impact

A multitude of criteria that impact the performance of demolding

  • The nature of the formwork
  • The desired quality of facing
  • HSE criteria
  • The protective virtue of formwork against corrosion
  • Application conditions (wind, outside temperatures, etc.)
  • The pouring method (formwork height, vibrations, method of introducing the concrete, etc.)

Chryso offers an extensive range of release agent solutions tailored to target performance adapted to the production environment.

Dem Ekla

Vegetable release agents

Composed mainly of an oily matrix from the cereal industry (rapeseed, sunflower, etc.), vegetable release agents have the advantage of offering a good HSE profile, good facing quality and ease of spraying. Chryso offers a complete range of release agents suitable for each use.

Synthetic release agents

Composed mainly of oily matrices resulting from the selection of synthesized molecules, synthetic-based release agents have the characteristics of a wide range of application, resistance to steaming and good finish quality. CHRYSO release agents are particularly distinguished by their robustness to different application conditions.

Mineral release agents

Composed mainly of oily matrices from hydrocarbons and recycling, mineral release agents enable cost optimization and can be applied to numerous supports.

CHRYSO®Dem CRISTAL: Range of release agents certified “SYNAD Excellence”

The SYNAD Excellence classification is part of a context of growing awareness among professionals of sustainable development as well as the ongoing search for product improvement.

CHRYSO®Dem CRISTAL release agents do not contain Benzo[a]Pyrene. They therefore meet the recommendations of occupational risk prevention organizations.

Beyond its “health” advantage, the CHRYSO®Dem CRISTAL offer meets the 4 main performance criteria for release oils: coating quality, mold protection, HSE profile and consumption optimization.

CHRYSO®Dem Oleo 51 DPS

CHRYSO®Dem Oleo 51 – DPS is a ready to use delayed mould release agent which does not contain any solvent. CHRYSO®Dem Oleo 51 – DPS forms a non-adhering film on the surface of the formwork that withstands very high temperatures. The concrete can be easily separated after setting without affecting the facing. CHRYSO®Dem Oleo 51 – DPS produces attractive surface finishes without any bubbling or staining, ready to be covered with subsequent coatings. It has no detrimental action with respect to most rubbers, plastics and polystyrenes.
