CHRYSO®Tard solutions are specially designed to delay the hydration reactions of cement, effectively extending the workability time of concrete without altering its initial consistency. This allows construction teams more time to handle, place, and finish the concrete, which is especially useful in hot weather or large projects that require extended working times.

Once the desired setting period has passed, CHRYSO®Tard allows the concrete to quickly resume hardening, ensuring rapid development of mechanical strength. CHRYSO®Tard CHR

CHRYSO®Tard CHR slows down cement hydration by momentarily blocking the surface of the cement particles. At the end of setting, concrete hardens rapidly and high compressive strength are obtained after 28 days. CHRYSO®Tard CHR has no surface tension effects. Its use in concrete does not modify the consistency of concrete in any way. CHRYSO®Tard CHR can be used simultaneously with high range water reducing superplasticizers.

CHRYSO®Tard M 12

CHRYSO®Tard M 12 is a liquid retarder specifically formulated for ready mixed mortars. It has been developed for cement / lime / sand mortars but is equally effective in cement / sand only mortars. CHRYSO®Tard M 12 is formulated based on a combination of polyhydroxy monomeric and polymeric materials blended to produce a synergistic retardation effect. It is manufactured under controlled conditions to give a consistent product.
